Team Witsken Tennis - Events Information!

Team Witsken offers a variety of events that are geared towards helping players advance their game further! All of our events have different benefits and different time commitments to them which can allow some flexibility in how players can get extra experience playing matches! Below is a brief description of our events!

Team Witsken Interclub Matches:
Team Witsken's interclub matches are a great way for players to get in match play and do it all in one day! If you were to sign up for a tournament, sometimes, you have to commit your entire weekend to the tournament without knowing solid match times through the weekend. With the interclub matches, you only commit one day to matches and the matches will take place at a nearby club. Sites that we currently have interclub matches with are in Terre Haute, Bloomingon, Lafayette, Kokomo, and Muncie. To see what interclub matches are taking place soon, please click here.

Team Witsken Leagues:
Team Witsken offers several different leagues to players in both singles and doubles formats. For the adults, we offer leagues through our Indy Tennis League. Leagues are a great way to play weekly matches. You know the time and the day as we will try to set the matches up for a consistent time and day each week. Players will get a schedule and be able to stick with it for the league season. Singles leagues are great to work on your own game and doubles leagues are also available to work on your doubles game and play with a friend! Team Witsken Tournaments:
Team Witsken offers tournaments throughout the year for players of all ages and ability levels. Two main differences should be noted with tournaments. Team Witsken offers both USTA Sanctioned events as well as non sanctioned events.

With USTA Sanctioned events, there will be the opportunity to play against players from all around Indiana as tournaments are posted on the USTA Tournament Listings online and in the Central Indiana Tennis Associations tournament calendar. Players of many different skills can be found in these events from beginner to nationally rated players!

Non Sanctioned events are events that Team Witsken hosts independantly from the USTA and are events where we have a better grasp of who plays in the events and therefore we can place players in a more competitive draw and group players by ability so they can have better matches. These tournaments are great for learning more about competing and are good introductions to tournament play. Another benefit is that with non sanctioned events, we can be more flexible with the times of the matches and can work with players on when they can play.
