About Team Witsken Tennis Pros:
- Rick Witsken:
Rick is the Director of Team Witsken which he founded in 2001. The idea of Team Witsken was generated by the passing of his brother Todd. Rick wanted to carry on their shared dream of creating winners in the game of life both on and off the court. Rick was back-to-back Indiana State High School Singles Champion for Carmel High School in 1988 and 1989, a 2 time All-American at the University of Alabama, and a world ranked player on the ATP Tour for several years. He then became the Director at the Indianapolis Tennis Center and the Director of Tennis for Woodstock Country Club. He was also the Indiana State Champion in Platform Tennis in both 2003 and 2009. Rick was honored on February 5, 2010 by being inducted into the Indiana High School Tennis Hall of Fame. He reached the finals for both singles and doubles at the 2010 USTA Mens 35 Grass Court Nationals. Currently Rick is #1 in the nation for Mens 35 and has been invited to play for the U.S. in the 2011 ITALIA Cup being held in New Zealand. Rick enjoys spending time with his daughter Brittany, attending Colts games, and telling all students they are his favorite students.
